Women in Shanghai EP.3 with sub. EN transcript/CC not available since when, but I still understand to some degree (60-70%, but might be better if I rewind/pause more).
A なつめさんち gaming video, they played a game where you have to know/guess the hiragana of kanji names/moves from manga haha
MIU404 episode two for the fourth time! Watched with Japanese subs this time and rewinded a few times on difficult parts. There is some more technical/radio call in moments, but I think this episode has a lot more just conversation/dialogues. Man the emotions and intesity in the later half get me every time. It’s so sad, but so good! And sad foreshadowing :'))
Got a decent amount of 名探偵コナン watching in yesterday and today. Yesterday I watched eps 289 - 290, plus 1152 (the new ep from a couple weeks ago). I’m a bit behind on newer eps - still have two more before I’m caught up again… Today I had a three-parter to watch, though, eps 291 - 293. I wasn’t really keeping track of understanding level yesterday, but today’s 3 parter was hard - Osaka-ben…I like Hattori Heiji as a character, but man are he and Kazuha hard to understand…
MIU404 episode two for the fifth time! I only did some rewinding, less than yesterday I think. And it didn’t feel like I added that many cards, but I made 9! I’m still holding off on adding every unknown word, I’ll do that in the upcoming listens :)) Normally “grammar points” don’t stick out to me super strongly, I don’t make grammar flash cards and such. But in this episode there’s some grammar/way some sentences are phrased that stuck out to me and I want to remember. Like “ahh this is the natural way to convey that idea”
耳をすませば, I showed it to some friends who had never seen it before. So I watched without looking at the subtitles
MIU404 episode two for the sixth time! I did very little rewinding, and made one new flashcard. There’s one part in this episode where Shima goes on like a rap-speed, 5 sentence long rant haha, and my brain processed it all in one go for the first time! Yippee!!
I listened for 12 days in February, which is better than my two days in January, but it’s still not consistent enough, so I’ll continue my challenge into March.
I finally finished a luminerik fic that’s been sitting 95% completed in my drafts for ages, and then I needed to hear Uchiyama Kouki call me 相棒, except D&D still has its claws too deep in me to let me play anything else, so I listened to his podcast instead.
