星野源ANN episode 416. He had people submit demo tapes of their songs, and had Ayase on as a guest to listen through them together!! He was the perfect guest to have, and a lot of the submitted songs were pretty good!

Also, why do I always forget the second one has Maa-san. Her voice (well, the way she talks, mostly) is so obnoxious.

So that week just happened… Work and real life decided I needed a beat down, apparently. 
I am thoroughly exhausted, and apparently I haven’t posted here in 9 days. I missed my usual anime watching both yesterday and the day before entirely (I did listen to my anime theme song playlist during my work commute, but that was it…not sure if that really counts for this challenge).
I did manage to watch at least 1 episode on each of the other days I didn’t post, so over the previous days I got through Digimon Adventure eps 4 - 8 and 名探偵コナン eps 268 - 275. And then today, my first real chance to relax all week, I watched 名探偵コナン movie 6 and episode 276. I definitely wasn’t keeping track of my percent understanding (or which day I watched which episode), though.
Really hoping this coming week will be less stressful…

I listened to
I started Sound Euphonium!! Only watched the first episode, it’s been on my list for a long time. I’ve also heard realllly really good things about it, and I thought it would be a great show for my level! I liked the first episode, and what other people love about it is stuff that’s right up my alley. Language wise, I was really happy with how much I understood! I only needed subtitles for a few sentences, but other than that it was just watching it like I would in my native language!! It’s not a very difficult show it seems, but I would have struggled more with it even six months ago I think. It’s at a really great level for me I think, and will probably be a nice balance with watching the much more difficult show MIU404 at the same time. I’m really looking forward to watching more!
Episode one of MIU404 for the seventh time! I went really hard on adding anki cards this time, so much so that I had to stop making cards for the second half of the episode. But tomorrow I will do the same with the second half. There’s still for sure more I can get from this episode, but I think by the end of the tenth watch I’ll be able to understand it to pretty much 90, 95% comprehension with no subtitles! I probably sound like a broken record, but that makes me very happy and I love this show

You still got a bit of listening in though! But I understand it’s still frustrating

Today was an excellent day (thank goodness, I needed one!) in that I got to take advantage of it being a very rainy weekend day where there was absolutely nothing that needed to be done. I ended up watching 5 episodes of 名探偵コナン, so eps 277 - 281. Understanding was about average, around 60-70%.

Today I listened to
- Episode one of MIU404 for the eighth time! I did the same as yesterday for the second half of the episode. Made automatic flashcards for almost all the words I still didn’t know super well! So with that I’ve pretty much added all the flashcards I wanted/needed to for the first episode! If I add any more it might just be like one or two I accidentally missed. I’ve got two more listens to go on the first episode, and then it’s on to the second!

Today I listened to
- Sound Euphonium episode 3! Some of the music/routines are taking me back to piano lessons as a kid, and middle school band class haha
- Episode 1 of MIU404 for the ninth time! Added a few more anki cards, but I think that finished all the cards I will make for the first episode! I understand this episode so well now, and am even able to catch some stuff that translation/subtitles doesn’t catch! That’s a good feeling

Today I listened to
- A なつめさんち art video!
- I FINISHED ALL TEN WATCH THROUGHS OF EPISODE ONE OF MIU!!! Wahoo!! I mostly watched it straight through, only rewinded on a couple of lines because I’m tired haha. I’m really happy with how much my comprehension improved with this episode! Ten watches is kind of a lot, but also kind of not haha, so it feels like fast improvement! The totals for this episode are: 717 minutes (almost 12 hours) and 111 new Anki cards
I will probably watch the episode again, especially as I keep moving on to other episodes, I’m curious how much I will still understand after having not watched it almost every day. Looking forward to episode 2 tomorrow! both nervous and excited to see if I understand more than I did during the first watch of the first episode
