Unless this is WaniKani’s way of rolling out micro-transactions, I just wonder why this question was added into the FAQ at all? Every other question, even amidst the jokes, has a truthful answer in it somewhere. It seems out of place.

No, I’m also freemium, although the tool is very good and is helping me a lot to learn both Japanese and English, I highly recommend it!! However, even with the discount it ends up being quite expensive for those who live in Brazil.

I’ve actually purchased lifetime twice, on this account and my original @andrewkfiedler where I’m already level 60. I don’t know why I did that, some weird anxiety around doing a real account reset :joy: Honestly the cost feels cheap compared to how much I’ve gotten out of it.

1/4 of the way to 60 again, no regrets. I like focusing on the little intricacies this time around.

Highly recommend lifetime to folks, if you’re a :turtle:like me who goes a bit slower. I think my first completion took around 6 years! Never give up! Go at a pace you’re comfortable with.

Got my lifetime now, been waiting for a couple months, glad I catched it today!

But hey I think the “The “Last” Lifetime Sale Ever” comes trough a little misleading, you shouldnt mislead customers into thinking this is their last chance? Maybe they want to wait a year? IDK.

We do include that we will most likely have a sale next year, although we don’t guarantee it. But honestly, if a learner is nowhere near clearing the first three levels, we encourage them to wait since it’s still a big decision!

Woot! Thank you for the opportunity to test and obtain the discount early.

Upgraded via variation 5 on my ipad Safari browser. Paid via Apple Pay. Status updated to Lifetime, emails received but I did not get the correct prorated refund. I’ll send an email on that.

All variations look good in Safari. You may want to look at the “What will you do with all this Lifetime Money?” question. It may be a joke?

Since you are on level 2, my advice would be to complete the free levels first, up to level 4 and then re-evaluate if Lifetime is the right choice. :+1:

Everything went smoothly.

Running on Brave browser on a PC, upgraded from 1 year membership payed for with Paypal. I recieved the proration refund email instantly after purchase, despite reading I would have to email you for a manual refund.

Hopefully the refund goes through :slight_smile:
