Not getting lifetime (having a 50% discount code for the yearly means it probably wouldn’t be worth it), but got myself the 手ぬぐい from the Tofugu store sale. Honestly already worth it for the “order shipped” mail. 
Now to see how many months a USPS package to Germany will take…

I’m a lifetime member now! I’m level 38, and plan to “finish” within the year, so it isn’t the cheapest way to get to level 60 guru, but it gives me the option to un-burn items and restudy them as needed (I’m still waiting for someone to make an app that un-burns items after testing that I can read them within a reasonable time threshold .)
I also love this community space, and plan to book club forever. Plus, I love knowing that it’ll be there for me if I can’t devote as much time to studying as I do now

Hi, I’m an annual subscriber, and got a coupon code for the 50% off in the mail last year (right after the lifetime sale ended). Would you happen to know if that’s something that happens every year? I would prefer subscribing for two more years at 50% off, but would prefer lifetime in case I have to pay full price for those two years. Thanks!

I guess I’ll be a monthly subscriber until I paid as much as a lifetime subscription. 
I wish there was at least a small discount for the yearly option, too. Could probably justify a big sum upfront then.

Just want to let everyone know that if you’re using Gmail and you upgraded today, you might not have received an email from us welcoming you to lifetime! Gmail had an outage yesterday and a lot of Gmail accounts were bouncing back because of it and still are being blocked. We’re working on it though

I bought a gift subscription by buying a subscription and then changing the email address to the giftee’s and giving him the password. If there’s still not a gift option, that should still work.
