You’ll get the physical score report and certificate probably next month. It’s always after the online results. People who failed only get a score report.
Congratulations everyone! I passed my N3 in Leiden, the Netherlands. Not a great score: 113/180. Weakest point was reading (29/60) which I hadn’t expected. Vocabulary and grammar both A’s and 43/60. Thanks Wanikani!
Thought I’d either failed or just squeezed in, but seems like I got through reasonably comfortably in the end! Now I need to find something else to study towards!
Maybe I could start by sorting out my grammar…
Business J-Test?
Bunshoken?
Kanken level 1?
Excuse me, while I go buy myself a celebratory cake.
PASSED !!! And on first try (first N2 and first JLPT ever).
The scores do reflect my previous J-Cat scores in the sense, that my listening (and speaking) skills far surpasses reading (and writing) - coming straight from how I use the language in my everyday life: Speak with everyone, and in different situations, but hardly have had to read or write other than rarely out of necessity. Makes it easy to see what the next improvement task is.
Hey Wanikani folks I’m here to celebrate as well, N5 passed on first try - it took me 10 months, and I am pretty happy right now! Wanikani helped a lot, the kanji recognition part was the easiest of all
N4, here I come! Congratulations to everyone!
@irrelephant Mine looks similar but you were better

@Myria Wow your results are amazing, congratulations! Did you register for N1 in winter? With that N2 score you should really try!
Finally passed N4!
Officially setting my sights on N3 now! Thanks WaniKani
Those who you who passed and have done the J-CAT, would you mind answering this poll about the correlation between the two tests?
I thought the scores for listening and language knowledge would be the other way around but wow this looks weird. Off to watch more anime (gotta practise for listening)
Congrats to all of you! Well done to those that passed, and to the ones that failed I know it stings but it still takes a lot of guts to go out there and do it. You’ve emboldened me to get out there and try it myself even if I don’t make it the first time.
I couldn’t sleep very well, woke up at 2am to check and then couldn’t sleep again for a couple of hours, heh.
I passed (AAA)! Despite a bit of previous tourist vocab I’d started studying for N5 this January, and this was my first attempt so I’m really proud of myself. Now I just need to decide whether to really push and attempt N4 in December for experience, or wait until next year…
Congratulations to everyone who has passed the JLPT July 2018 examination. It was my first attempt for taking JLPT exam too.
Wow, N1. It must be very hard ya. Congratulations on passing it! And oh my, your listening skill is so well.
You guys… I passed N5! I think my score reflects my experience very well. There was quite a bit of content I simply hadn’t seen before, I goofed a few times, and I got some stuff right as well. Haha! Yay! I’m so happy. I guess I really did learn basic Japanese online. The prophecy is true.
Congratulations to everyone here, regardless of score! Thing is we all had the guts to sign up and sit through it. Keep going!
Gee wiz! That’s crazy good! Congrats
Congraaats! Mission accomplished
Maybe I’ll see you again in July next year, when we both take N4?
Congrats!
N… next year?
I’m up for it, but I have no idea how it’s gonna turn out
