Is the LIFETIME plan over?

I was just now checkin the prices for LIFETIME plan.
It´s only available the Monthly and Anual.
:smiling_face_with_tear:

Can anybody help me?
I am pretty sure I will have to study it for at least 4 years.

It shows up for me on the subscription page (though I can’t choose any bc I already have lifetime)

Also lifetime’s still listed in the knowledge guide. And I haven’t heard anything about them ever getting rid of it. What page are you on where it only shows monthly/annual?

I’m assuming that’s a third party site, since it’s partly in Spanish?

I found it available on my subscription page and I’m on my first annual subscription

I’m curious why the screenshot you posted is partly in English and partly in Portuguese(?). What website is it?

It may be machine translation and/or something that’s handled by the payment provider (Stripe?) to show prices in local currency and terms in the local language.

I don´t know why, but when I choose to change plans it is mixed portuguese and english. I´m from Brazil though.

Is google autotranslating something in your browser? That can cause issues.

The other thing no one has mentioned - in December there is usually a lifetime discount sale. So at that time you can convert an active annual plan to the lifetime at that time (anything months left on your annual plan contribute to the lifetime. But it’s not guaranteed (but it’s been every year) and by then exchange rates can change and all sorts of stuff so it’s not guaranteed to be worth it. I just wanted to mention it.

Hey junkimiya! Were you able to find the lifetime subscription plan? I can confirm that we still offer it! Let us know!

The localized part is almost certainly from the payment provider, since they support multiple languages and currencies (it would be even more confusing if it had the time period and cost not in the appropriate pair of language/currency), while the surrounding content is Tofugu’s WaniKani website content (which is not localized). So the payment provider is (correctly?) detecting the local language and currency to display for the actual purchase part of things.

Thanks for your tip, then I will convert to anual plan, because I think I will use it for more than an year. I was planning on use monthly because I didn´t know that the annual plan can contribute to the lifetime. I will do it now… hahahaha

Hello Nick, I found it, thank you!
