How to review all of Wanikani?

Is there a way to review all of the kanji and vocabulary of wanikani, for example after someone has burned all items?

There is the button in the main menu (under Extra Study) that lets you review the burned items. So if you’ve burned all of the items, you can review all of them

Another way would be to download an Anki Deck with all the WK vocab and kanji, so you can review all of the corpus without having to go through the motions of obeying a schedule on WK.

I’m using the Reorder Omega script for that. Once per week I filter on all unlocked kanji to use in Self Study and blast through them. SRS is great and all that, but there’s nothing wrong with brute forcing stuff into your brain too IMO.

It might be good to know that it typically takes people many years to burn all items on WK. getting to lv 60 is one thing, burning the items a whole different beast.

But as has been pointed out it’s possible to review the items in multiple ways. First is the extra study feature. You can also “unburn” items and start reviewing them again.

Yet another way is to use a script like the self-study quiz and use that to quiz yourself on the burnt items specifically.

Why would you want to?

The whole point of WK is to get you to a point where you don’t need it anymore. Once you’ve burned all items, the best review you can do is to actually use that vocabulary.

A lot of people stop when they reach level 60 or even in the 50s, but I have some spare time each day when I have nothing better to do, so I still do my reviews out of habit. I wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure of unburning everything, though.
