Hi,
Sorry if it’s a nub question. I’m at a level where I’m asked to write in vocabulary for:
力いっぱい
What I write is:
ちからいつぱい
WK says I am wrong and corrects me with:
ちからいっぱい
What am I missing?

The difference between つ and っ
いっぱい is ippai – and this is what you need to answer.
いつぱい is itsupai – and this is what you’ve answered. I’m not sure there’s even such a word
Ahh! thank you. This is so hard to notice
Don’t worry, you just haven’t gotten used to it yet. Soon it would come naturally!
Best of luck with your studies!
you can add a Japanese-romaji keyboard from your phone settings
i double click on the letter ‘C’ and the lil ‘っ’ comes out.
you just need to double click and delete the extra ‘c’ letter xx
I mean, you just need to duplicate whatever letter comes next in the word. So, “ppa” produces っぱ, “cchi” produces っち, “ttsu” produces っつ, and so forth. There’s no need to type something else and then go back to delete it.
what I DID NOT KNOW THAT !
and it make sense…
If you want to make any kana small you can also prefix it with x. So axa will give you あぁ. Can be useful sometimes.
Like when you want to send invitations in Japanese for a big pa-texi next week.
Yes, though H also works in this particular instance: “pa-thi”. One fewer keystroke.
