  • 切なくも甘き沈黙: Originally printed in a special booklet distributed to those who purchased CDs 16, 17, and 18 of the drama CD series and submitted proof.

Normally I’d be a few books away from creating this thread, but on the urging of a fellow F&B fan, I decided to read ナイトメア early, and boy am I glad I did.

Thoughts:

  • …Is Nigel really going to be okay in this series? He couldn’t even give Kaito a hug there at the end to reassure himself; dude’s constant torture over Kaito not being available is so heartbreaking this far in. :cry:

  • Thank yoooooooou, I have seen the vision that is Spain!Kaito. :relieved_face: Making Nigel watch the two make out was pretty cruel on 松岡’s part though, haha.

  • It’s so interesting that Nigel was picked to be the POV for this. I was going to bring up the 並行世界 thing, but Nigel beat me to it. And because he brought it up, in my mind it’s now canon that there’s a Kaito who was brough to Spain in volume 1. :face_with_steam_from_nose: (Reminds me of the end of vol. 12, when Kaito muses there’s probably a world out there where he fell in love with Vicente.) Anyway, I wonder if Nigel being able to slide around like this is due to his grandfather’s fairy blessing? :thinking:

  • Now I want to see the alternate reality where Kaito ends up with Nigel. :cry: Don’t let Nigel see, for god’s sake, it’s just going to kill the man. (And while we’re at it, let’s just go ahead and toss Kazuya’s happy ending in there, why don’t we.)

Overall a fantastic addition to the canon. :ok_hand:Needs to be included in the next 外伝 compilation, Matsuoka. :index_pointing_at_the_viewer:
