I began my Wanikani journey on April 1, 2020, and made it to Level 60 yesterday! I’m very proud of myself, and know that my journey is far from over. I’m still meeting weekly with a Japanese tutor to improve my speaking, and I’m (slowly!) reading manga and playing easy games. I’ll probably go back through all the levels and resurrect the words I’ve forgotten along the way, but for now it’s time to celebrate!
