Congratulations to you!
6500!
2024 kickoff! yep let us start the year right
Whew!
I never thought I would see a level-up again. This one was a long-time coming.
Only nine more levels to go!
@MissDagger I see you! heh heh hope everything is okay on your end!
also @ekg glad to hear you are planning a Japan trip. All the best and know I am much excited for you!
@Kumirei thanks Kumi! er I think this is the wrong place for this
Thank you! ^>^
Much is still up in the air, but I’m happy I’m going - finally! I hope you can enjoy Japan soon as well!
Yep, things are good, thanks! You?
Thanks for the kind words. I think I need more grammar before I can push through with it. hahaha
I was a bit worried because I commented on your thread and it was ignored. Maybe it just got buried so you weren’t able to see. So it was a relief that you replied to a ping.
Have been inactive here for a while now so it is nice to get a friendly response still.
It’d be interesting to see your itinerary once it is all done. Maybe I can glean something from it.
Hi hi hello. Things are okay, could be better but I am back in school to hopefully get some credentials. Change is needed, I think? Or maybe improvement? Something like that haha
Still trudging along with Japanese though, albeit at a slower pace. What about you? How are you?
Nah, I’ve been buried in IRL stuff as of late. That’s why there was no reply! Think nothing of it! That’s just my life being very much up to the brim and me just having my face above the surface, floating.
I’ll get my feet under myself I’m sure, but for now, I’m floating along. ^^
I’m going back to school this fall. Both excited and feeling trepidation. xD
Japanese is somewhere in the intermediate bog. At least reading and grammar. The other skills are late beginner or early intermediate. not really studying much at the moment. Just reading some.
Yay! School buddies we are, though you will be much later this year. Still, all the best and much excited for your back to school program. Is it okay to ask what you will be studying for?
Mine is WaniKani: going great, everything else: not so good. hahaha
Network technician. Data networks, not social ones. Want to try something new.
Wanikani is a nice easy way to improve Japanese and can also be very time consuming. Alas, I no longer have that so have to figure out my own thing and right now as mentioned that isn’t much of anything.
I guess most of my learn something new energy is going into learning piano. I’m in my second semester/6+ months in now. Still very much a beginner but I enjoy it a lot—most of the time!
Oh cool! This might come very handy as technology progresses even further. And it seems you are motivated as it is something new for you. That is so awesome you can study and it is all with no tuition. I wish there was a similar system here in the US. I paid my tuition last month and let us just say it is enough for me to take a tour of Sweden by myself for about a month!
I have slowed down and only down to about 100 or so reviews a day in WK, maybe even less reviews? I just try to do reviews in the morning and then one before I go to bed. My Marugoto, Genki, and JLPT review books are still there waiting for me to pick them back up hah hah hah
Oh nice, nice, nice. All the best on the piano learning. I never learned to play any instrument so I always encourage others who can and those who want to learn. If there ever was an instrument I would want to learn it would be either the piano or the guitar. At some point I will decide whether it will be a reality but for now I am afraid it is a no.
Too much chatty going on here, not sure how to handle this… social interactions make me feel weird… what should I do… Imma take a break, I guess…
Yeah, I am very glad about our system here. Tuition especially in the US is just out of control. What are you studying?
I always wanted to learn to play an instrument too, especially piano. Well 34 yo now, turning 35 this year and I’m on the journey finally. A lot of my classmates in the online piano course are pensioners so it is never too late. I think that is a bit far off for you, right?
I am doing my bachelor’s in Accounting. Thinking of getting a Master’s afterwards. I only had an Associate’s prior to this. I have another Bachelor’s but not in Accounting. Hoping to finish the undergrad by June of this year. I wish us both clarity of mind and persistence in study as we endeavor in our academic pursuits!
Actually we are close in age so I will not be surprised if I also encounter pensioners or retirees once I do decide to pick up instrument lessons.
hah hah hah
However, I think it’d be better for me to visit Sweden first before taking instrument lessons. What do you think?
I think Stockholm, Visby, Norrkoping, Uppsala, Kalmar, and Kiruna are interesting, no? You tell me. lol
(funnily enough, some of these cities are in Euro Truck Simulator 2, which I play sometimes to relax and enjoy some European scenery)
