Yes on both. I ended up purchasing the Utespelare from IKEA. A system integrator is building my PC desktop right now and ETA is around August 23rd. I have yet to select/purchase the peripherals. If you have any recommendations, I am all ears.
I thought about building my own rig but decided I have been too detached from current standards that I would need to reacquaint myself for awhile. I am somewhat more knowledgeable now but not enough to make me confident to do my own build yet.

Cool! I got myself a new computer last year, but my priority was making it as small as possible so I based it off the Asrock Deskmini 300w. Right now I’m looking into getting myself a standing desk and omg that has been a rabbit hole. I’m looking at paying about $1000 for the desk and its peripherals. I want to get an under desk walking treadmill, too, but a good one that you can use all day is almost $2000! Still thinking about that one

I think I went the opposite route you did as I based mine off of the Lian Li O11…
I thought about this but I will probably wait if there are any good ones come November. There can be pretty good deals on them during that time. Not sure about your desk treadmill but there might be good sales for those too during that time. 
Also, I know you said standing desk but you can buy something where instead of the desk going up and down, there is a base that you can pull up and down instead. Have you considered that or are you pretty set with the desk you had in mind?

Oh my, that is a chonker! You won’t be mounting that on the bottom of your desk
They actually all already have a summer sale going, so I imagine any november sale would be comparable. However, as I now work from home I think it’s worth spending a bit more on a desk setup, so I’m not too worried about it
I did consider it, but the thing is that the desk I have (borrowed from my mother in law) is kind of crappy, so it’s not really an option for me

Oh no, there are intake fans below so it will either be in the IKEA desk or a future side desk. I will decide once I see what my setup looks like.
True. Sales are somewhat weighted similarly nowadays. You do have a point there. One tip I might suggest is for you to visit a brick and mortar office furnishings store when you have some free time. I heard that they have some stock there that they are trying to get rid of, some may even be very slightly used. The other thing is that they may be able to order the specific setup you need, since you may be willing to spend it up for it.

久しぶり！！！ No worries, I really just dropped off the face of this forum for over a year, didn’t I? 
I’m doing good, still in Hokkaido, still dodging bears! I passed the N3 test back in December, so that was cool, although I haven’t really done much on that since. I should really update my log, and catch back up with the wonderful community here (and my reviews… )

I am so excited as my new desktop is due to arrive in a couple of days. The excitement is beyond anything I have ever experienced! I swear if FedEx somehow messes this up I will hit them with a シンクロ攻撃！(that may be wrong but I tried 
)
