Favourite Japanese Youtubers?

I watch a lot of cooking programmes on youtube, I particularly like はるあん https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiMq2YMvF47o7K4FIZxkjFw

That guy is freaking hilarious  He says the funniest stuff, but still gets serious points across, as well.

I just don’t agree with his idea of Kanji learning, that’s why we’re here, I guess.

But yeah, he is not what people were looking for in this thread.

I saw the recommendation for this youtuber floating around somewhere on WK but thought I would mention it here so that it’s easy to find. This channel is still very new but there are already around 30 videos uploaded that are a mix of beginner and low intermediate, all in Japanese with optional Japanese or English captions.

There are 12 Intermediate videos covering various aspects of Japanese culture, while the other videos focus on either a specific grammar point or a ‘word of the day’.

ミシェル先生 speaks very slowly, even in her intermediate videos, so if you are covering intermediate material but still find listening to be a struggle, her videos might be helpful as you can practice listening at a more managable pace (beginner level speed).
