Yes. Auto vacation mode? How long is the requirement, I wonder?
It’s been months. I’m not using Wanikani right now. I’m up to 1500 reviews and I’m just not motivated anymore for the final 15 levels.

Had to thaw as well as I took a long, long break from Wani Kani during my year in Japan. Before turning on vacation mode, I didn’t do any reviews and left it like that though. Which means that when I came back I had more than 1000 reviews to go through as well.
Honestly, wasn’t motivated to do this myself for the longest time but something clicked about a month ago and now I’m here with only about 340 reviews left and I’m sure that I can get them down to 0 at the end of next week 
It is definitely possible if you have the right mind set. You have to find it in you, don’t do it if you just absolutaley can’t be bothered because if you do it while not wanting to at all, you will learn to hate learning Kanji as I did for a while.

Went on a hiatus for a year or two. Had a long thaw.
Right now I’m not planning on going back to it anytime soon. I’m focusing my energy on others aspects of the language. I have a good Kanji knowledge, but my language overall is severely lacking. I don’t understand content that USES high level Kanji.
