But by the time they got separated, they hadn’t been holding hands for two pages.
Natural episode 5a. (5b is is adapted from Navigation 22, so stop at the ad break if you don’t want to get ahead.)
Thanks @Belthazar!
I finished the chapter now. It finally feels like things are picking up again. I love mysterious stuff like this though, just like the Cait Sith chapter from volume 1.
I was a little sour on the book after the first few chapters, but now I’m excited to keep reading again. ![]()
I’ll need to have another look at the book.
It could be a “and then stuff happened”
Wow, there are a lot of replies in this topic ![]()
I seem to be a bit later than everyone else this week, so anything I may have considered asking about has already been answered. Is it just me, or was this chapter shorter/easier than the one before it?
Some comments on the chapter itself:
I rather like these more supernatural chapters, (I hope I’m not the only on)| so it was fairly fun to read. Not having to look up a lot of vocab probably contributed to that feeling ![]()
I think there was a lot more gazing around in confusion / wonder, and a lot less guided tour
I really enjoyed it too - especially the slightly dreamy air the whole chapter had ![]()
psst, not sure when you got your avatar, ditto20, but I like it!
And thanks to two otherwise very boring hours in a waiting room today, I’ve now caught up with you all (yay!)
I really enjoyed this chapter, just so lovely and atmospheric. I have yet to visit that shrine in Kyoto, but it’s on my list now! I thought the statues were really creepy, as was the little kid in the mask. (Dr Who flashbacks
)
Big thank you to @Belthazar and anyone else who put the Kansai-ben explanations into the vocab list, much appreciated!

I have this version, but haven’t “undressed it” so didn’t know this was there until I saw this post! <3
(Yes, I’m finally trying to catch up
I’m a “bit” behind ^^; )
