Your mind is already accustomed to the things it had been exposed to multiple times 
It might take a bit of time to stick back to your active memory and it is in no way a loss of effort.
While I admire your dedication to learning and doing reviews, it might be a good idea to appreciate the time with your family when you are on vacation (As you grow older you get to spend much less time with your family. “Wait but why” blog has an awesome visualization on that.)
Life happens, reviews stack up. As long as you get back to it, you are a winner @travissmith san
