That’s Book Walker software on iOS. Although I’d rather have a physical collection like you! 僕だけがいない街 is on my to read list too!
Sorry I’m late! Galavanting around irl is a poor excuse I know
Volume 8 is up, see you there!
First priority of a wk user should be posting book club threads
Second priority: friends and family, who needs those guys
Another fun expression:
目に浮かぶ : comes to mind

今日は まだ一度も笑っていない
Google translate: I haven’t laughed once today
From context: You haven’t even smiled once today
A bit late, but since the last time I tried reading Frieren, I’ve read a few thousand pages of different manga
This was the very first physical manga that I attempted to read as a part of a book club, chapter by chapter, so it’s close to my heart and I did want to continue it ^^
This time I gave it a shot with Mokuro, to be able to do some lookups, and I found volume 7 to be a bit easier to read than volume 6, as volume 6 was full of names of spells and this one had a lot of people talking and using very casual expressions, but i did track myself how much it’d take to read this, and reading volume 7 did take 1:27h of my time today to get through: which is significantly faster than volumes 5 and 6, so it’s very nice to have a comparison scale and be able to compare how much I’ve sped up ^^
But the manga’s difficulty is still beyond my flow/comfort zone, it’s really hard to focus on the actual meanings of the sentences as you’re trying to figure out what the words mean, so I felt like I was vibing some of the pages.
My favorite scene of the volume was in 第66章,
第66章
me when my younger girlies ask me for love advice (i am better at 恋バナ than actually falling in love) xddd
also,
was fun, i wonder if i’ll return to the Frieren train properly now ^^
Frieren has a lot of these on display
That was my impression, too.
Nice scenes ![]()
