On pg.65, I’m wondering about the phrase: 早く捨ててきてください
I admittedly struggle with the て行く、て来る constructions, but I’m not understanding the nuance that てきて adds here … how is this different from: 捨ててください ?
Is there a nuance of “throw it away, and come back?” Or maybe, go throw it away, with the implication of coming back being that you went somewhere else to throw it away?

My understanding is it’s the slight difference between ‘throw it away’ and ‘go throw it away’ with the latter implying movement in both languages.
That’s how I understand the form when used like this tekuru with literal motion: verb one is you went and did something and then came back. Like 行ってきます
There are figurative forms for this pair that are tricky at first, but maybe we should leave that for an actual example. I’ll try to keep an eye out for them

Im always getting surprised by the numerous uses of 当たり.
In this case i suppose its used as “hit”, or more like the way your answers/ your attitude hits at someone.

Also, interesting that 縄張り can mean an animal’s territory (I thought it meant roped off in the literal sense … like a “champagne room”)
