We are going at the pace of 1 week per chapter. Each week starts on Saturday. There are roughly 20 pages per chapter.
Please blur out major events in the current week’s pages, and any content from later in the book/series, like this: texthere
When asking for help, please mention the page number (or % for eBooks).

Actually supposed to, despite the drama. Narrative does say 焦らず.
I love unspoken actless ominous atmosphere, in this new chapter, and a little later on.

Page 32:
毎日 朝次(45) is a weird name, unless I misunderstand something?

Ohh I didn’t even read their names honestly, I guess it would be something like “Every day there is a next morning” or something, I don’t know if it’s a pun by the author or something honestly.
朝次 is a given name it seems, and can be spelled as ちょうじ or あさじ, however I can’t find 毎日 or even how you’d spell it (まいにち sounds super weird). Honestly quite the conundrum

Epic moment
I’m not sure if the Idol is supposed to lookj like Light or if that’s just the standard “hot guy” look the author makes. Either way the comparison between the even more stylized Light and the frogfage L is hilarious
Most emoion we’ve gotten from Light so far
And also from Ryuk (poor dude was only trying to help)
And finally the eternal maniacal laughter that will forever haunt my dreams (and also iconic in the What’s up people opening)
Great chapter honestly, a bit of a tipping point for the series

This should easily be caught by a camera, as he is in his seat; or at least, wiretapping. (He most probably didn’t whisper.)
I also have just recently noticed that Light took an entrance examination into 東大 (but not that 東大).
About Ch. 20, reading Furigana’d Katakana is fun.

I read it pretty early this time, I think I’ve got a better schedule now, death note is a better read for the weekends.
