I think you should do it if you get something out of it. I did almost everything on the Grammar Sheet for Ruri, that was fun because I would notice which things I hadn’t written down yet when I would see that there weren’t yet in my Bunpro review pile. And I figured since I was looking for them anyway on Bunpro, might as well have the list somewhere that I can share. Now that I’ve done it once I’m not willing to do it again. And I don’t really know if it’s been useful to anybody.

Good point here. I’m not quite sure where the line goes between ABBC and BBC but this would be more of an ABBC thing to cover for sure. Maybe I’ll drop some grammar links to the vocabulary sheet whenever that makes sense.

This is my first manga, so it may be typical, but I was struck by how few grammatical sentences there were. I can’t imagine the list of grammar point s would be long.

Unless you’ve already realized something that you might want to figure out on your own, the following is a spoiler.
So, 山田 and 田山 seem to be the same person. Everything’s pointing towards that, except her bangs (the hair in front of her face). 田山’s front hair is just hanging down, and is pretty short - just long enough to barely hang over her eyes. Meanwhile, 山田’s front hair is clipped towards the side, and seems long enough that you couldn’t even see her eyes anymore it would hang down over her face.

I’ve been thinking this manga is particularly dialogue heavy 
Less battle scenes, magic and warfare than in your standard 少年漫画. But obviously we still don’t have a narrator writing in complete sentences like in books. The language is spoken in fragments and colloquial throughout.
Just to be clear, I was referring to grammar points from Grammar Points - Japanese Grammar Explained | Bunpro. These are bite-sized nuggets of grammar. Surprisingly many were covered already in the first chapter.
As one example:
By my count that’s また, も, 命令形 and よ in one speech bubble.
I didn’t go through the entire chapter panel-by-panel but extrapolating from this it feels like majority of N5 at least is already covered by the end of chapter 1. I’m interested in whether reading the whole volume would cover most of N4 as well.
(There are certainly many literary grammar points that will probably never appear in a manga like this, though.)

Reread the chapter to comment. Definitely an easier read this time, although the difficult words are still difficult. Maybe I’ll make a small anki deck with the hard ones at some point because words like 勘違い and 退勤 seem pretty useful.
くれたりして of page 4 gave me a huge headache. Even knowing the たり point wasn’t enough to connect the dots. Found this with a friend though so at least I got to the end of it. But there’s still something I couldn’t explain:

「ここならたばこ吸えまっせ～」
What does 吸えまっせ stand for? I translated it as “you can smoke” in my mind but the grammar is unclear. Is this the colloquial version of something?

I wanted to remind you of 里心 but it seems the WK team has removed it from the website… did too many people complain that no one actually used it in Japan? It’s still a WK 5 word according to jisho.

Oh yeah, reading stuff aloud is great especially for conversational stuff. It really helps get stuff like the aforementioned グーぜん or this here 吸えまっせ。(Incidentally, isn’t it a colloquial form of +ませんか？)
