Yep, reading the last volume now!
All aboard week 3! In which we learn what this book is actually about? 
Ahhhh I still have 3 more pages in week 2! I’ll finish up tonight though. (I put highlights for all of the breakpoints when the schedule was released)
Next week, let’s go! This time it’s entire chapter 2
Almost forgot about new book club week since I have a shift tomorrow and doesn’t feel like it’s weekend yet

I want to know too! I still haven’t read past the prologue because I’ve been taking forever to finish 本好き. It would be nice to know if it’s worth catching up at some point.
Really well! Which is a thing that I didn’t think I’d say about an IBC any time soon 
I have to look up a ton, but since I’m interested in the story I’m actually looking forward to when the next week finally starts and I am allowed to continue reading. (Having found a Firefox add-on to add furigana is also helping a fair bit.)
I’m behind, just starting Week 2 (first half of Chapter 1). I struggled with the prologue having to look up so much vocabulary. I find this book more difficult than 変な家。。。I’m hoping it will get easier. I’m glad to hear the story is compelling, so I’ll keep on going!
I think that playing a bunch of fantasy RPGs helped a lot with the vocab. It all feels pretty familiar to me so far. 変な家 was a bit easier for sure though, especially the first half or so.
Week 3 material has been a little hard to get through for me, part of it is the talking about politics but also I went on a little vacation and am now catching up. I’m making my way through it but I may be behind for a bit.
I caught up, but at the expense of my other book club 
There were a lot of new words at the beginning as this isn’t a typical genre for me, but I’m definitely finding it easier as I go. I did a good chunk for week 4 without lookups (that isn’t to say I knew all the words, but the ones I didn’t know did not seem to hinder my overall understanding)
I’ve just finished this upcoming week part, and it finally hooked me up! I don’t mean that it was bad before, it was just setting up the world. But now the main story begins, and I want to continue reading despite the schedule 
But I won’t, I want read it along with the others.

I still haven’t started this week’s reading. I got 1 day to catch up. But I’m enjoying reading all the comments even though I’m perpetually late!
note to self: being in two intermediate book clubs, while only having 30-45 minutes a day to read, is very difficult

I finished chapter 3 yesterday, so I’m slowly catching up!
Me, before starting the book: Oh no, week 10 is 21 pages. I hope I can somehow manage… 
Me, now: For week 10 I can read a whole chapter! Sweet! 
This week we reach 50% in the book!
