Discussion Rules
Please use spoiler tags for major events in the current chapter(s) and any content in future chapters.
When asking for help, please mention the chapter and page number. Also mention what version of the book you are reading.
Don’t be afraid of asking questions, even if they seem embarassing at first. All of us are here to learn.
To you lurkers out there: Join the conversation, it’s fun!
You might want to note in the schedule to read the page without a natural break to the end of the page. We might also need the end of the last line each week like Kino so it’s easy to identify.
I added in the hardback pages and what I suspect are the ending phrases for those sections (projecting the 4-10 page drift between the versions over the course of the book). Please edit the ending phrases if I got them wrong, and delete the HB page number, then—once I know the exact ending phrase—I can update the HB page.
Anyway, yeah, based on the word counts I think this will be a pretty decent book even for people who are new to reading, especially since there are people in the thread to help with grammar
I had forgotten this was on Floflo.
Welp, added to the first post now. (I don’t think there is a way to get a more direct link? Correct me if I’m wrong)
Those stats give me hope that this one will be manageable enough that I’ll have time to attempt not getting crushed by Haruhi buut we’ll see. I have heard scary things about that book…
I’ve heard it’s really hard (and the stats on Floflo would support that), but the sample wasn’t too bad. Also, the anime looks like it’s a pretty confusing adaption, which is why I haven’t watched it and wanted to read it instead.
But that’s part of the charm (think: the last episode of Evangelion). And you could always watch it in the chronological order instead of airing order. I recommend trying it out after you’ve read the source material, at least for the kyoani visuals.
