Reckon one problem they’re having is that on page… uh… *counts*… 41, they’re both trying to raise their legs with their hands wrapped around the soles. Not even the teacher is doing that.

Art shift, sure, and her hair seems a bit shorter too, but somehow all the characters look quite different in winter clothing rather than summer clothing. I can’t quite put my finger on it.

How a single dad, working as a translator (or possibly a konjac maker) with a wildly energetic five-year-old running about the place has the time and space to make tiny paper models is beyond me! I don’t suppose this new hobby will end well!

(sorry for the, well, lack of clothes ^^; At least an old photo, before I gained weight =P )
Also, this photo is a “cheat”, I’m able to “catch” the pose using a timer, going up just as it’s about to go off 
But I CAN put my feet behind my head! =D
I have slight hypermobility, which actually causes some joint pains =P
I can do all the poses Yotuba did with ease =P

So, おいでなすったー is the past tense of おいでなさる, which means “to come; to go; to be (somewhere)” in honorific language.
So this is Yotsuba very politely saying “I’m back”. I guess the politeness is because she’s trying out princess language? Oh dear, if she keeps that up, I’m in trouble!

I think I’d hesistate to say that she’s being polite - she’s using the respect form about herself, which is kinda arrogant.
