Played 二ノ国 on my DS in the lobby before my N3 exam, came across 生える, a reading for 生 I’d not encountered previously. And guess what was literally question number one in the test.

There’ll be an overlap there, as Horimiya ends on December 2nd. Thus, anyone trying BBC after Horimiya will likely skip over Kiyo.

Used a 50% off coupon bookwalker gave me to go ahead and get the first volume. I’m more excited for this one than Kiyo in Kyoto, but I’ll still participate in both. :slight_smile:

Maybe I’ll watch the anime before this one starts just cuz.

Speaking of coupons, Art Club is currently available for half price on all the usual platforms till Oct 9th, and there’s an additional 50% coinback on Bookwalker. I inititally intended to skip this one because I’m not that interested in the story, but for one Euro I’ll read anything.

(That’s assuming I’ll enjoy the series, a worry before buying volumes on sale. The anime episodes I saw recently seemed fine for me.)

This book looks fun, it’s a couple levels higher than anything I’ve read before but I think I’ll give it a go - the bookwalker preview covers almost all of week 1’s material so I’ll probably read along for that then see how I feel from there :slight_smile:
