There are foxes, squirrels, deers, and bears in my hometown.
But, there is almost none of them in my neighborhood. They live in the mountains.
There are lots of crows and sparrows (in my neighborhood).
Note1: If you have things you want to say but don’t know how to write it in Japanese, just try to write some parts (eve just some words) and ask me how to write the rest! I can teach you or provide some hints.
Note2: This thread is meant to be beginner-friendly. Staff will try to use easy kanji and expressions, but sometimes you may come across kanji you don’t know. To quickly look up the kanji reading and meaning, we recommend you to use a furigana extension such asRikai-kun. The browser extension will let you hover over the words and teach you the reading and meaning.er]
That last part of that last sentence, I wanted to say something like “I’ve gotten used to them being there”. Not sure if the way I wrote it is incorrect and/or awkward
Also, I’ve been wondering about this for a while. When referring to animals existing (in this case birds for example), you use います. When talking about a species (like “this many species of birds exist”), do you also still use います? Since it’s referring less to the actual animal, but more to an abstract concept.
へえ〜、家の前に田んぼ (colloquial expression of 田) があるんですね。なんだか、平和な感じで、いいですね 都市型 is usually used together with another word as in 都市型住宅 (urban housing). Another thing is you need to mention what the cows are eating in the 田んぼ in the second sentence. It seems they eat 稲 ワラ in paddy fields
都心には、あまり野生の動物がいないですよね。海には、魚のほかにも、いろいろな動物がいそうですね
「外した」は、「おいはらった (drive away)」ということですか?外す is used when someone or something is excluded for some reason (e.g. かれをチームから外す。その本をリストから外す。). 私の町にもシカがたくさんいます。市は鹿肉をたくさん食べるように市民に言っています
それは動物よりいやかも
みんなヤンキーだと思っているけど、実はモンキーかもしれませんね
あら、北海道ですか。私も、どさんこですよ でも、私もエゾモモンガは見たことないです
長い文を、上手に書けますね That is an interesting question 種類がいます is defenitely wrong, but replacing it with あります doesn’t really help… I would say 公園にはもっとたくさん (or 多く) の種類の鳥がいます. You can also say 公園の鳥はもっと種類が多いです. あと、市中より、市内のほうがいいです。
