Can you have a custom avatar or choose an avatar in Wani Kani without Gravatar?

Not on the main site, you can however pick an avatar on the forum without having to rely on Gravatar by going to the forum settings (click your user icon in the top-right corner of the forums, then go to settings, you should see the option to change your avatar right there). You can upload any image there and use it as an avatar on the forums.

I don’t use Gravatar. Just upload whatever pic you like to use. ^^
