My avatar only works here on the webapp but not on WaniKani

Hello guys,

I recently found out we could change our avatar on WaniKani. I followed the requiered steps; i created a gravatar account and uploaded a picture, everything was fine so far. The problem is that it only changed my pfp here, but not on WaniKani itself. I signed out and in again thinking it just needed some refresh, but it didn’t work out. I don’t really understand where’s the problem because even by consulting similar topics that were supposed to solve this issue, nothing helped…

The WaniKani main site only uses gravatar, there’s no other way to change your profile picture there. The forums are a bit more flexible since they’re built on the Discourse platform, but the main site profile receives no updates whatsoever from the forum side.
