WK is hosted on Heroku so sometimes if Heroku is having technical problems, the site’s connection can become iffy.

It hasn’t happened again on any my sessions today so you may be right.

I hope it is ok to resurrect an old thread since I’ve been getting this error once or twice per day during the last week when trying to do new lessons. Thought I’d give a heads up just in case the problem isn’t on my end. I’m running Firefox 101.0 with Tampermonkey scripts on MacOS Monterey.

Welcome to the community!

Have you participated in any festivals of Crabigatorism?

If not, I will have to bring in the @Mods to see if we can fix that

Thank you! I have not, if doing reviews on WK is not a form of devotion in itself…

Crabigator festivals always help. In the meantime, if you want to write to us at hello@wanikani.com, we’ll see what we can do!

To be clear, @Phenometallist87 was the one with the issue

Right! I meant to tag them as well, but forgot

Having this exact same issue for the past few days on Firefox with scripts. Happens multiple times per review session and even during lessons, which is especially infuriating because it’s really inconsistent in regards to how much of the session it remembers, leading to it throwing off the number I usually do per day. Reloading the page through the onscreen prompt or refreshing through Firefox itself does not work, I have to manually go back to the Wanikani dashboard and go back to reviews or lessons from there before I can continue.

Edit: just disabled scripts and it is still happening.
