When will we get the summary page back?

It was such a good feature and I’ve been missing it so much ever since I’ve returned here!!!

I believe Anki doesn’t have a summary page. It has Card Browser with “Studied”, though.

Anki has a whole summary statistics actually

I’ve long given up at this point.

Yeah, not just that, but there’s the “again” tab to see the ones you got wrong specifically, so that functionally covers what you need, right?

I’ve started work on a script to re-add a summary page - what kind of stats would people find useful?

So far I’ve got it working with some basic stuff like: num. items completed, percentage of correct answers (also broken down by meaning and by reading), a list of reviewed items along with whether you got them correct (SRS level up) or not, and a couple of other small things, and am struggling to remember what else the old summary page even had

Also, if anyone happened to have any screenshots of the old summary screen it would be useful so that I can make it look vaguely similar, but I guess that’s unlikely lmao

You can look at the stats page and see how you did that day. Can’t say the same for WK :stuck_out_tongue:

I haven’t realized about that tab before. Still, even now, I still have yet to realize its usefulness.

I thought Summary Page is more of a place to realize check immediate leech / accidentally correct.

fyi, there is one already that might do what you want! [Userscript] Review Summary on the dashboard

どうぞ!Before the change, a friend and I would send each other our completed review summary page, just as a fun competition type thing and a way to keep each other motivated and accountable.

Yep, it’s similar, but I’m hoping to have one which displays like the original, fullscreen at the end of a review. That other script is also interesting though!

How many days was it gone for total?

(and tbh I don’t really consider it back even if there’s a replacement, like it just functions too differently, guess I can just install a userscript now though, I held off in case the replacement would go in the same area)

Are you talking about the new widget? It only seems to list mistakes, right?

Better than nothing but my main use case for the summary page was specifically to review things I got right but felt a bit shakey and I want to spend more time reviewing. If I get something wrong it’ll come back soon enough anyway because of SRS…

This! Especially with the pairs of vocab items that I commonly confuse. It’s annoying to have to keep track of ones I was shaky on as I go through the review session, instead of just looking them all up from the summary page at the end.

Plus I really just miss the review percentages and seeing all the items for that session listed on the page. For some reason that was really motivating, and without that WK completely lost any gamification factor for me and made doing reviews less enjoyable.

Gameification is underestimated

For me, the levels are the main gamification factor. Do you not see levels as such?

Interesting how different we are – for me it was quite demotivating whenever it wasn’t 100%

Making progress… (also has light mode of course, and is compatible with the Double-Check script)
