I’m sure this question has been asked before, but I haven’t been able to find the answer. Yesterday I guru’d the last of Wanikani’s kanji. I was hoping to get a congratulatory message from Koichi or so, and that the lv60 bar in Wkstats would stop extending, but so far it kinda seems like nothing happened. Is that right? Or is there something I need to achieve to actually complete lv60?
No there’s nothing except for goals you set for yourself. I think the program is (funnily enough) complete as soon as you reach level 60.
Strictly speaking have you really completed WaniKani without burning all the available items? Better be fast before new items are added as well 
On a more serious note, if you feel like it, I would recommend keeping doing WaniKani for a while to cement the last few levels a little better in your mind. But as a whole I would recommend to look for new learning materials for after WaniKani. You need to develop a workflow to learn new Kanji and new Vocabulary on your own now.
My bar on Wkstats stopped. WaniLog has a second bar after level 60 that keeps on going
