Pretty happy. I’ve been learning a ton of things and have been picking up on things in Japanese I didn’t notice before… I don’t really have much else to say. Those 95 lessons are going to kill me though.

Congrats! Level 10 was actually the day I spent the longest on.
Feel proud, because a lot of people who tried Wanikani sorta petered off before the point you got to. Although I think the biggest dropoff level is 12, not sure. But still! It’s a good milestone. 1/6th of the way there. The good ol 16.6% repeating. 1/6. 0.16. Can’t think of any other way to put it. There are probably some math wizards who know a billion other ways to say 1/6th.

Well the main reason I stayed was the infamous “It’s too slow” ordeal. It was way too slow for me, so I’d keep coming back whenever it said I could continue as if it was a mobile game. So now that’s it’s picking up I keep coming back. I’d say it works, even if it makes people mad the first time they use WaniKani. Anyways, I just did those 95 lessons so that’ll be fun in 3 hours… Next up is Bunpro then my Anki.

Yeah it sort of feels like a mobile game haha, where you have these timers that you have to wait to be able to do more stuff, it’s addicting which is good, getting addicted to good productive things is awesome. And while I agree that it’s slow right now at least around level ~4 I know that further down the line it’s going to get crazy, so it’s better to enjoy how “slow” it is now while we still can.
