No problem! Could you add the “next part” link to week 4? I can’t do that myself.

So the second secret entrance is in a restaurant by the hotel? Now I have a theory that the hallway is L-shaped, with a mirror to make it look like it’s a straight line. Which architecturally would be very silly, but I guess you can be silly when you build supervillain Disneyland.

Also, do we need a topic for week 6?

I find it ridiculous how the lab entrance is such a big mystery. Have they tried asking?? What, they don’t have enough evidence to search the place? Two employees just freaking died, I don’t think the police needs a super strong reason to even ask where the goddamn entrance is. Hanawa is the one who would need a really good reason not to tell them.

If you really really wanted it, then Hanawa would say that the main building is the only worksite, and there is no secret underground lab… and the underground lab was built in secret and isn’t in any of the government permits/filings because supervillain money… and all the employees have been sworn to secrecy and don’t talk to anyone even when two people have died…

Alternatively, Hanawa can just refuse to tell them, and doesn’t need a reason to. And two people have died on the premises, but there’s no direct connection to the underground lab (so nothing to use to get a warrant or something).

So if Mori absolutely doesn’t want the police into the underground lab, he doesn’t have to let them in (with varying degrees of silly contrivance), but yeah it is a bit odd for the police to not even ask. Oh well. At least the contrivance is working in Saikawa’s favor.

Yeaah it still sounds quite far fetched. Sure, you’re a supervillain with tons of money so you can build a super secret lab if you want. But then it would be stupid to have lots of employees coming and going all the time, even with a secret entrance. It doesn’t sound like they have super strict secrecy rules either given how easily Saikawa & co were able to enter. Also I think the police would likely want to investigate the work area of the employees who died to look for clues. But anyway. This is not super important in the grand scheme of things.

At least someone finally found out where that entrance is. :upside_down_face: The whole Kaname & Saikawa thing is really weird, as is her bossing her ‘friend’ about. I’m probably just really lacking as a human specimen though.. :joy:

Here’s hoping Kako isn’t just going to die next chapter now…

Speaking of which; the young secretary who’s no bringing Shiki her food apparently will be safe unless she blabs. I wonder if it’s just Shiki making those decisions?

The new spoiler formatting keeps eating my text.

Now what was all of this crazy Hanawa story about? It had so many holes you could drive a truck through… I guess he just wanted to make people’s heads spin.

Also yeah Saikawa and Kaname - as expected, he stopped her advances and left her room. Let’s see where he ends up spending the night now.

Oh, true that. :crossed_fingers:

I think it is at least her who is making these decisions, and apparently also carrying them out at times. But maybe Hanawa is also deep into these things.

Oh, I’d forgotten about that conversation! I don’t know, Shiki just seems so passive whenever she appears. Makes me wonder what she’s really actively doing and what she’s just watching others do.
