I’ve recently learned that time passing is 経つ (たつ to pass/elapse time
N3 Anime Top 3K “経passage of time20”), which conjugates to たって for the て-Connecting Form. I think the も is an emphasisも… so なんねんもたって is 何年も経って…a number of years passed
So overall we have
Rough: Well, some yearsも passed and Grandpaも Grandmaも ended up dying and nowでは おgravestoneの beneath they are.
Clean: Well, a number of years passed, and the old man and woman both passed away and lie under their gravestone.

I think that きみわる comes from …気味悪い (unpleasant, uncomfortable, creepy, spooky)
And is being used with this grammar point:
…Tofugu on Adjective + がる “When attached to an adjective, 〜がる means, “showing signs of” that adjective.”
So this part of the sentence means showed signs of being spooked
Overall, I got

I’ve just finished both chapters, I’m posting as accountability. My favorite was 牛の足あと！It was short, but vengeance was served

牛の足あと was one of my favorites. I was enjoying the tale, and once I realized the story was not about rear feet it got even better.
