Week 10 ・ 気になってる人が男じゃなかった (Beginner Book Club)

I enjoyed the author’s thank you message at the end. It’s interesting to think what a journey they’ve been on going from publishing this on twitter to seeing it get printed and become such a big success.

Today we start the first week of volume 2

Ack, I thought I had more to read but it was only a few pages. I finished! I really liked the flashback and the portrayal of Mitsuki being different from everyone. It felt very real to me.

Reading the message has been a real challenge because of how squiggly some of the kanji were written, and it was a bit of guesswork, but i found out that my guesses were mostly correct, so, hey, scribbled Japanese I can also understand xdd

I was trying to do some mining for the kanji across chapter 2 and 3, but the only kanji word that surprised me and I didn’t even know how to look for it was 墨汁 in the epilogue (spilling ink over skirt), I’ll try to remember that 墨 means ink and anything after that probably is related ^^

BUT MAN this one-upping of 美月 and 綾 in terms of who’s the most attractive character in the manga is getting to me, in fact it got to me so much that I finished an entire volume in just two sittings xddd

That’s probably for like week 8 or 9, but 綾’s New Year’s resolutions are on point, we stan ^^

I don’t have the second volume yet, but I’m definitely interested in continuing
I looked up 新井すみこ on the interwebs and she seems to be a pretty interesting person too, so I’ll spend the time between volumes reading about her…

…but this post is down ;___; xdd
I’ll still try to look for it somewhere though ^^

i rate the manga VERY EPIC YEES/10 C:
