I am really sorry if it was asked before or is listed somewhere but I can’t find it or don’t know how to ask, so here it is: Is there a tool or dictionary or way to ask jisho to find words that use a specific reading of kanji only? In any position in a word?
Thanks for any help m(_ _)m
Hmm in jisho if you input *specific reading* #kanji #words this seems to do what you’re asking for
Ex using こう:
This pulled ~8539 kanji-containing words with a こう reading somewhere within the word (can be an alternate reading as well)
Do you mean “a specific reading of a specific kanji”? Like, “all words with 大 with reading だい”?
If so…
#word and *大* and *だい*
Adding "and" will force all of the criteria to match, which eliminates a lot of false positives.
どうもありがとうございます!Thank you both so much! That’s exactly what I was looking for. I rarely use jisho, but my usual dictionary doesn’t have so many search options.m(_ _)m
