I was just wondering if there are any WaniKani subscription promotions coming up, as I’m ending my free trial and am unsure about which subscription to chose from.

The Lifetimes tends to go 100 dollars cheaper by Christmas time, as for the other subscriptions I think they don’t.
One thing WK does good is if you decide to grab an anual subscription and by the end of the year grab the discounted lifetime, the value of the time left of anual subscription will carry over and make the lifetime even cheaper combined with the discount.
I’ve also heard that if you gently ask the support they sometimes can provide you with some discount code, not sure about this one as I’ve never done it but always worth a shot.

They usually have a sale on lifetime, $100 off, for Christmas… That’s uh, ‘coming up’…

You may also want to keep an eye out for the next Tofugu podcast, whenever that may be. Sometimes they offer a limited time code for a Wanikani discount. But their podcast comes out pretty erratically so I wouldn’t rely on that.

You can send an email to hello@wanikani.com requesting for a coupon code. You can use it on Monthly or Yearly subscription. Lifetime sale is generally available Mid December to Early Jan. If you decide to buy Lifetime, any pending subscription cost will be automatically deducted from $199
