Turns out the difference is how big the “drizzle/ light rain” is the size of the rain drops. 霧雨 is about .5 mm large and 小雨 is about the strength and amount of rain provided, so while they’re both light rain, I’ve only ever seen 霧雨 when it’s like a misty drizzle and you can’t really feel individual rain drops if that makes sense

I hope you’re okay and insurance covers it!

For the association:
cedar because the 山杉 are killing me with their 花粉 and my eyes are so itchy

Still waiting to hear from the insurance company for sure but the body shop thinks it might get totaled. Mom would miss the car because it’s inherited from her mom but we really don’t drive it that much. The damage isn’t terrible but the car also isn’t worth a lot. We’ll shop around some before jumping to buy the replacement though.

Because most of these guys have shells

販売 (はんばい) sales, sale

Because sale is a bit like sell which rhymes with shell, and also because 販 has the shell radical in it :spiral_shell:

It’s been a while since I watched tmnt, but there were some shell puns there.

Huh, now I’m wondering how the “she sells seashells by the seashore” tongue twister would translate to Japanese. Probably not well because the words being similar is specific to the English words.

貝類 Shellfish Very important to know if you want to check for allergens

殻・からshell (i.e. of an egg/nut), husk, rind, pod, chaff

It can also be used when referring to electron shells, but then it uses the on’yomi, かく.
