粉雪 powder snow apparently this is also the name of an old song? I heard it for the first time the other day and it was a nice ballad type thing. I don’t remember the name of the band though, it was a lot of katakana

That looks really cool. I picked ink as the word this week because I’m trying to get started in traditional illustration with ink as a watercolor mix. I think that medium is sometimes called ink wash.

入れ墨 いれずみ tattoo. I know it’s low hanging fruit, but it’s the first thing I think of when it comes to 墨.

Those paintings look so cool!! I hope the class goes well and you can learn a lot form him!

It’s not low hanging fruit, it’s pretty common in English to call tattoos ink as a kind of slang or shortening. I don’t think I’ll ever get a tattoo but it’s kind of cool to have something permanently part of you.
