Hey, was just wondering if it was possible to reduce the amount of reviews taken per quiz. Ideally in like blocks of 10-15?
If I want to open wani and do some learning when I am time limited I end up just wasting time because there might be 30+ between getting a kanji meaning and its reading, and you need to do both in a single session for it to clear. This means the only time I can study without constsntly having to repeat things is when I have enough time to do them all. Which I dont always have. I have enough time to do all reviews, but not in a single session.
There’s a “wrap up” button below the answer entry field - it looks like a clock. When you click that, it will give you any remaning half-answered cards, plus ten more, and then end the session.
I believe, but could be wrong, that if you select wrap-up you will always get 10 items to complete. I think that in terms of items which have been half completed (either meaning or reading) it never lets the number of such items in that state get beyond 10.
Possibly? WaniKani knowledge base just says “it will let you finish the next 10 reviews”.
With scripts or third party apps like Smouldering Durtles you can use back-to-back mode and always get the reading and meaning back to back. This way you can easily just pick up WK and do exactly as many reviews as a moment allows for:)
