Great idea and wow this AI is pretty amazing at creating surrealist looking art.
The free online generators are kind of cool and novel but this is the first time I’m seeing AI generated images that are genuinely impressive.

I also just found this AI about 2 weeks ago. They have an open Beta and as far as I’m aware you can create 20 images or so for free - after that you’d need to use their paid subscription mode if you want to continue. But here’s their beta page if you want to try it out. https://www.midjourney.com/
Interesting… not wat I was expecting but then again none of them have been haha
At least this managed to seperate the horse from the shrimp!
That’s 1 point for craiyon and 0 for midjourney haha
Oh cool! I’ll def check it out, thanks!
Please… no…
To remember that 仕 is read shi and as Wanikani explains it as a samurai leader of the sheep clan, here’s the AI version
I searched for “WaniKani” itself and got this:
Is this the Crabigator’s natural habitat… what we see in the forum logo?
I wonder if we can bring Jourm to life?
I totally want to see the radical chute in 部首.
I got that too. Wonder if it’s some sort of place name…
If you have the time for more, how about 激, a white tsunami chasing after winter?
It’s Ron Perlman!!! Exactly who I pictured as Jourm.
Incredible, this captures the very essence of Jourm.
Do you mean in this context?
When you need a radical to make a new kanji, you just press a button and the radical comes tumbling down the radical chute (しゅ). There’s definitely no rhyme or reason to radical picking, it’s just whatever pops out of the ol’ chute.
Let me know and I’ll pop it in ^^
It’s the Jourmiest face I could have imagined
I dunno, I’m not sure that guy looks like a Jourm to me. He looks more like… Olaf?
Also, are you sure these are done by an AI, and not some sort of speed-painting gnome?
