So it can be quite annoying that anytime you want to use WaniKani you have to open a website. Well I found a way to get rid of that annoyance

  1. open WaniKani.com on safari

  2. Click the three dots next to the search bar

  3. click share

  4. Scroll on the share menu and click Add to Home Screen Change

  5. Click add

  6. Now it should show up on your homepage and you can just click it to open like any other app!

I assure you we can install PWAs on Android, too. Still, I’d strongly encourage you to use one of the third party apps listed here. I would’ve quit WK like 40 levels ago without features like offline reviews, auto-switching keyboards, and an undo button.

Not really on relevant but, you can also add WaniKani as a web app on Linux via webapp-manager. (Among other sites)
