@Mods, if it is inconvenient, sorry for wasting your time, but:
Here is a suggestion for a new vocabulary word on level 26.
I even made the mnemonics and examples!
Meaning mnemonic: If you are counting alone, then you must be playing Sudoku!
Meaning hint: What other purpose is counting alone than playing an “alone” game!
Reading mnemonic: This is a jukugo word that uses the on’yomi readings of the kanji. You should be able to read this on your own. Don’t forget the double う!
Sentence 1:
The other day, Koichi became the world champion at Sudoku.
先日、コウイチは数独で世界チャンピオンになりました。
Sentence 2:
My grandmother couldn’t do the Sudoku puzzle.
私の祖母は数独パズルを致すことができませんでした。
Pattern 1: 数独を~
数独を致す
to do Sudoku
数独を考える
to think about Sudoku
@polv, the reason I posted about this is actually what you just said.
When you think of Japanese puzzles, sūdoku comes to mind.
The reason I posted is actually suggesting the word.
Hey @ben12lingo! I have let the team know about your word suggestion! Thank you for doing some of the leg work, we appreciate it! We can’t guarantee it will be added but we will give it a good look!
