Vocab unlock from much earlier levels

So I am in my 20s (levels, not years, that was so long ago :-))

But I have been unlocking vocab from levels 1, 3, 8,11,12 curious. I am quite happy to review them again but pretty sure that I did them back then too.

Is this a known feature or perhaps it is because I have been using Flaming Durtles?

Those vocab are all new. But the fact that you didn’t realize that and felt you already knew them means the system is working properly.
