Since there aren’t any LingoDeer forums, I’ll just ask my question here:
I purchased LingoDeer premium a while ago, I just wandered around the settings now and I can’t find any way to cancel a subscription, or even view it. How can I view my subscription?
I don’t want to cancel it but I want to know how so that I would know what to do if I’d want to cancel it.

Are you on ios? iphone? ipad? Just go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > sign in > Subscriptions

Can you tell me what such a subscription does? I have access to a whole bunch of lessons in the app, but never had to pay anything? What does the subscription add?

I don’t have a subscription, but it recently became a subscription service instead of free.
Japanese 1 is still available for free, but I believe Japanese 2 is only only to those with subscriptions.

So Japanese 1 is like 60 lessons or something? That’s still pretty good tbh. I’ll definitely go over to a paid service after this though.

Yep, that’s my understanding, LingoDeer is pretty great.
Japanese 1 is also pretty extensive and better than Duolingo imo.

Definitely! I think I’m at about 30 lessons now, but I’ve already learned way more in the way of grammar than Duolingo ever did.
Duolingo is adding grammar lessons to the phone app for some languages (e.g. Italian), maybe they‘ll do so for Japanese?
I‘d love to access Lingodeer level 2, but for the moment it‘s a bit too expensive for me. Last Christmas they had a discount (or a bug) and lifetime was 22€… Why, why wasn‘t I fast enough!!! It‘s a really great app though.
