Well I haven’t tried FluentU, because I didn’t know about it, but I will take a look at it now.

Concerning Satori Reader: I am still at the beginning of intermediate level and I can read some articles without looking at the translations/descriptions too much, but there are also articles where I have to look them up frequently. For me it’s absolutely worth it because each week four new articles are added, which is more than enough for me at the moment. Also, I think the articles and the descriptions are really good and it is very motivating if you can instantly look up words/phrases you don’t know yet. Once you reach an advanced level though, you probably wont need this any more. So I guess Satori Reader is made to bridge the gap between intermediate and advanced levels. I’m currently on the monthly plan, so once I reach that level I can cancel the subscription. Also don’t be fooled by the discount, there’s always a discount :wink:

Hm… yeah, I also like the idea, but this might not be that easy, because SR does not offer any public API’s so it’s actually not that easy to access that data, as you would have to index the articles first. But nothing is impossible obviously :slight_smile:

Thanks, I did’t know about the update-frequency (4 articles/week). The articles are very fun to read and not too difficult.

It’s always nice to have an idea for future projects. Let me know if you need help with testing :wink:

Actually it’s 3-4 articles per week, you can look it up under Dashboard → Recently Released. But I don’t know if you can see all of them without a paid subscription.

Checking the feature-list on the start-page it says that there should be some interactive dictionary involved, but it does not work for me. Nevertheless it seems like a good resource to learn natural sentences.
