For some reason this keeps happening. I’m not sure what’s going on because I was able to do some reviews this morning and now this. It is a connection issue on their end? I’m able to connect to everything else without an issue. It’s just WaniKani!

I’m having the same issue!
I got this error earlier, but it went away when I disabled scripts in Tampermonkey (also when I uninstalled and reinstalled scripts).
It should be working now. From what I understand, they were updating the site. I got this message in the middle of a lesson batch, plus another one that said they were updating
then after 5 minutes the site started working again. Then 2 minutes later it broke again, and I got the error message you posted.
Now it seems to be working.
