Recorded mnenomics for level 1

level 3

and level 24 (twenty four):

I certainly don’t mind anyone using these recordings – indeed, I would be very happy if anyone else would find them useful, but there are a few things to be considered:

  • My diction is often quite awful. And as I’m recording these for myself, during spare time, I’m not trying as hard as I would have if I was doing that for others.
  • While I’m using WK radicals, I’ve also made up quite a few myself.
  • Special comment should be made about 宀 radical. Those who joined WK in the last few years might not know this, but most (or at least many) of the WK radicals used to have different names. Then, somewhere in 2018-2019 there was a major WK update where they were renamed. As at that time I was only starting to take notes, it wasn’t a huge problem for me to adapt the new names – and so I did.
However, for 宀 I made an exception. Its new (and current) WK name – is “Roof”. However, before the update it was called “Helmet”, and “Roof” was a different radical 亼 which was removed. In other words, due to update, what used to be helmet – became roof and what used to be roof – became removed. However, as I find the 亼 radical quite useful, I keep using it. So, whenever you hear me saying “Roof” – know that I’m referring to 亼、and whenever I say “Helmet” – I’m refering to 宀。

Bought and tried Steins:Gate – the music is fantastic and the game seems really interesting – and it can run in a window, which is very convenient for looking things up. I might still be not ready yet, but I’m glad I bought it nevertheless.
