Tools for learning new vocab

I love the style of Wanikani and its spaced repetition style. I also like the uniqueness of Migaku pitch trainer and other tools like these. Any recommendations for tools to learn new vocabulary, as that’s my one weak spot right now (and no, I didn’t get on with Anki). Any help for this noob is appreciated!

If you like Wanikani’s input style of flashcards then you should try ToriiSRS for vocab! It was based on WK so it shares a lot of similarities, but also has some great quality-of-life improvements, like an undo button and the ability to choose vocab lists.

Welcome to the community !

For targeted vocabulary practice: https://jpdb.io/ (also an SRS).

I do not recommend the pre-builts deck if you’re a beginner (they are too big).

You can create your own custom decks with a text you aim to read later. You can copy / paste your next sessions content an it will create the cards accordingly.
