This chapter is such a dynamic shift from the previous ones. Up until now it’s been Uchimaki as the funny man and Usami as the straight man, but with Usami (mostly) out of the picture and Collette in, now Collette is the funny man and Uchimaki has to be the straight man by contrast, and it’s like whoa, suddenly he’s almost a functioning human being.

Anyone wanting more context for わらしべ長者 on page 113 onwards, though: Straw Millionaire.

Same. But at least it didn’t have much of 部長 in it, so I spent less time actively annoyed.

I think I’ve decided to just drop this. I can’t work up any enthusiasm to even try and read each week’s chapter at this point.
