I like the new logo a lot, but the rest of the design looks half-rolled out.

The new look of Crabigator himself reminds me of a character from a kids’ show where I live.
As for the logo itself, for some reason, it makes me think of fast food :yum:

What happened to the self-study script? I can’t see it anymore and it was one of my most used scripts.

Yeah no, i’m no fan of it. The new logo is worse than the old one, but maybe more helpfully, the drop down menus now lack any cue that they are dropdown menus, making the design confusing.

My thoughts so far:
good:

  • The animations are very slick
  • The dropdowns for levels, radicals etc. look nice

bad:

  • The purple for vocab is to bright, my brain got confused when it saw bright purple and got vocab instead of the kanji it expected
  • I can’t see my level! where is it? This seems like a real oversight :frowning: pls fix

Hopefully some fixes will be rolled out soon to address the most common complaints :slight_smile:

As Keks said above, the animations and dropdowns are good, but the rest… blegh. This feels too sleek and modernized for my tastes, including the different logo and re-colouring. Going back to the old layout would be better (and I’m sure there’ll be a redesign available sooner or later-- lemme know when, if this doesn’t revert).

Also a bunch of my scripts aren’t working including some really important stuff like UItimate Timeline, which is bad. Why does the redesign bork the mod scripts?

Edit: Scripts are working. Still, that lack of level number is kind of weird and problematic? I still want the old Crabifator design and logo back.

personally, i love it. it never occurred to me that the old design needed upgrading to begin with, but i’m pleasantly surprised.
